Overview: voluntary health care in Ghana

Volunteering in hospitals of the Volta Region will contribute to the overall improvement of health care and education.  The spread of diseases must be prevented and prevalent diseases have to be healed as much as possible.  Most of the hospitals and clinics in the rural areas of Ghana are poorly equipped and understaffed, as in many other countries in Africa.
