Overview: Volunteering in a computer project in Accra, Ghana

This computer project is designed to teach the local community basic computer skills to further develop the standard of computer training in Ghana. Recently, teaching and dealing with computers has become an integral part of the Ghanaian education plan to enable children to gain computer skills before they graduate. However, this new law can often no be implemented due to a lack of teachers. This lack is therefore to be compensated by volunteers who can teach children and adults how to deal with a computer. The course itself takes place either directly in the organization's training center or in one of their partner schools.
