<h2>Description: Volunteer English Teaching at Private Primary School in Kuta, Bali</h2>As a volunteer you have the opportunity to teach Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays, so 3 times a week. You will mainly assist the teachers during their regular lessons and also during their after-school English program. School hours are from 8am to 1pm on Monday and Tuesday. The teaching time on Saturday depends on the activity planned. During the English lectures the volunteer focus is to add a practical approach to the English lessons, which could be singing English songs, working with flash cards or play role-plays.As a teaching volunteer you don’t necessarily have to have experience in teaching. The teachers will introduce you to the schedule and you will be provided the teaching material.&nbsp;Most importantly you should be fluent in English, open-minded, confident and creative. You will have the chance to plan extracurricular activities on Saturday and you could use the quite spacious school area for sport activities as well.&nbsp;

This volunteer program in Bali gives you the opportunity to support the primary school as a part-time volunteer, while having enough time to travel around and enjoy Bali life.

<h2>Volunteer accommodation in Bali</h2>Volunteers participating in projects located in Kuta will live in a private accommodation in the area. This will be a private room in a homestay complex (no guest families!). Every volunteer will receive a separate and private room with basic equipment: bed, shelf, aircon, own bathroom, wifi). However, equipment does not include fridge and there will be no kitchen.&nbsp;Meals are not included in both options and have to be provided by each volunteer.

<h2>Volunteer abroad program in Bali</h2>Start date&nbsp;of project The projects starts on every Monday. Time of arrival We recommend to arrange an arrival from Tuesday to Thursday, that you have the chance to join the orientation day, which is always scheduled on Friday. You then have enough time to recover from the long flight, get to know your roommates and make your first trips. Arrival at the Airport Arriving in a new country is always exciting. We want your arrival to be as relaxed as possible. One of the staff members of our partner organization will pick you up at the airport and bring you to your host family or your shared flat. He/she will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign with your name on it. Orientation program Friday after your arrival one of the team members of our partner organisation will visit you in your accommodation and show you around. You will get to know the location and its&nbsp;people and you will be informed about Do’s and Don'ts. The program will be held with more volunteers at the same time. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know like-minded globetrotters. Your local contact person will provide you with further useful hints for a good starting point into a new lifestyle. The project starts On the first day of your project (Monday), you are accompanied by a team member of the local partner and will be introduced to your project. The next days, your contact person will always be reachable through phone and will assist you with any occurring problems. Free time &amp; weekend The weekend is totally yours! You may ask your local contact person from our partner organisation about upcoming events, sights, shopping tips or other must see’s. On some days there will be field trips organized by our partner organization. We recommend you to join them as it is always fun to experience a new country&nbsp;with others.&nbsp;Departure You shall contact your local contact person a few days prior to your departure to inform about options for your airport drop-off.&nbsp;It will not be included in the services of the volunteer projects, but our expert will help you organize it.

<h2>Your coordinator in Bali, Indonesia</h2>All internship and volunteer programs in Bali are coordinated by Laura and Rima. Laura was born in Surabaya, Java, and moved to Bali several years ago to finish her English Literature Master in Cultural studies. Rima, joined the team after returning home from from her 4-year stay in Germany.&nbsp; The young and energetic team will assist you during your travel preparations and during your entire stay on the island. Moreover, they regularly organise meetings with all interns and volunteers and are happy to share insider tips, that will make your stay&nbsp;unique and unforgettable.
